Questions
01What does a backtest here actually measure?
It grades each call a screener would have made on historical sessions: open to the highest high (win-high), open to the final close (win-close), and whether a recorded target was reached. It tests rules on past data and is not a simulation of your trading returns.
02How many periods and screeners can I test at once?
Up to eight periods per backtest, and any number of screeners you choose. Results appear per screener and period pair, and you can open up to four saved backtests side by side.
03What are the named market periods?
They are the strongest rallies and deepest sell-offs found in the stored price history, each a 3-month window. They are measured on the equal-weight average of all listed stocks, not the IHSG.
04If I change a saved backtest, do I lose the old one?
No. Editing opens a copy, and running it saves a new backtest. The original stays so you can compare the two.
05Is backtesting free?
Backtests are a Pro feature, along with screeners, Running Trades, day trade picks, chat and theses. The free plan covers Swing and Long term picks, news, broker activity, ownership, charts, Portfolio, the AI connector and the WhatsApp community.
