# Which IDX Screener Lets Me Revisit Yesterday’s Stock Shortlist?

An actual two-date walkthrough finds five persistent names and one omission—and shows why Live prices on an older result are not a backtest.

## Summary

Trade Inc’s Screener workspace lets you reopen dated results and compare the names shown in each shortlist. In our actual Pro-workspace walkthrough on 7 October 2026, the same official Screener showed six names in its 6 October result and five in its 7 October result. Five persisted; SQMI was absent from the newer list.

That answers a practical question a current-only screen cannot: **what changed in the list I was reviewing?** It does not, by itself, establish why the list changed or how a tradable strategy performed.

Disclosure: Trade Inc publishes this guide about its own product. We inspected existing results; we did not create a Screener or run a new backtest. Screenshots use the Indonesian interface, observed around 08:04–08:06 WIB on 7 October.

## Key takeaways

- Open **Screeners**, choose the relevant saved Screener, and select a dated result under **Hasil** (Results).
- Record the run timestamp and complete result count before comparing tickers.
- An old result can display both **Pilihan** (selection price) and **Live**. Those fields belong to different contexts.
- A missing name is not a sell instruction. A price change is not proof of an executed return.
- This feature fits recurring shortlist review. A one-off stock lookup may not need it.

## 1. Find the dated result, not just today’s list

We opened **Screeners** and selected the official entry labelled **Swing Pick (2W) - 7%**. The name identifies the entry used in this test; its percentage is not a return promise.

The **Hasil** panel contained date buttons. Selecting **7 Oct, 00:03** displayed a successful run timestamp of **7 October 2026, 00:03:47 WIB**. The separate read-only product status also reported that latest run as successful at the same second.

*Start here: choose the same Screener, then press the 6 October date button. These are existing results, not a request to launch another evaluation.*

Next, we pressed **6 Oct, 00:03**. The panel changed to **Jalankan sebelumnya** (Previous run), with a timestamp of **6 October 2026, 00:03:26 WIB**.

*The selected date and full timestamp identify the result being reviewed. A run timestamp is not automatically the cutoff of every market-data input.*

## 2. Compare the complete membership

The pagination labels showed **1–6 of 6** for 6 October and **1–5 of 5** for 7 October. We inspected all those cards, rather than comparing only the first visible stock.

| Ticker | 6 October result | 7 October result |
|---|---|---|
| SRSN | Present | Present |
| SQMI | Present | Absent |
| UNTR | Present | Present |
| ERAA | Present | Present |
| DMAS | Present | Present |
| KETR | Present | Present |

Source: our inspection of the two stored product results. This is the complete six-name union of those lists, not a recommended portfolio or a market-wide selection.

Five of the earlier six names remained: **5 ÷ 6 = 83.33% prior-list retention**. There were zero additions and one omission. Using the newer list as denominator would instead give 5 ÷ 5 = 100%; that answers a different question. Neither percentage is a success rate.

SQMI’s absence alone does not tell us whether its inputs changed, its relative position changed, or another part of the screening process mattered. We did not establish the cause. The practical next step is to investigate the omitted name’s evidence—not convert omission into an automatic order.

## 3. Keep historical selection prices separate from “Live”

Scrolling the 6 October result exposed a useful distinction on UNTR’s card: **Pilihan 25,600**, **Live 26,000**, and **+1.6%**.

![UNTR in the selected historical result, displaying selection price 25,600, Live 26,000 and plus 1.6 percent](https://cdn.sanity.io/images/eybaj6wm/production/73c3a28f1c5520c122c671b4bbe217ea5f10a446-975x565.jpg)

*An older result can contain a refreshed comparison field. Do not read every number on the screen as a snapshot from the original run.*

The displayed arithmetic reconciles: **(26,000 ÷ 25,600 − 1) × 100 = 1.5625%**, rounded to 1.6%. This checks the relationship between two displayed prices. It does not verify their exchange source, adjustment basis, executable availability or precise quote timestamp.

No position, fill, exit rule, transaction cost or dividend is established by that calculation. Nor did this test certify that every historical input or rule version is preserved unchanged. To evaluate performance, use an appropriately documented backtest or actual trading records—not this two-price comparison.

## What to check before choosing a tool

For recurring research, test whether you can select a specific result, identify its timestamp, inspect the whole list and distinguish stored selection fields from subsequently updated information. Ask separately about history retention and rule-version preservation; our walkthrough does not establish either guarantee.

The [public product page](https://tradeinc.app/en) lists Screeners within the Pro research workspace. Our demonstration used that workspace, not a free calculator. Check current access terms before subscribing; we did not test every plan or account configuration.

If you only need today’s names, a current shortlist may suffice. If you need institutional performance reporting, audit-grade immutable archives or execution analysis, this demonstration alone is insufficient evidence of those capabilities.

## Conclusion: preserve the question behind the date

Use dated results to recover what the workspace shows for an earlier run, then compare complete membership on a consistent basis. Here, the defensible conclusion is narrow and useful: five names persisted and one disappeared between two selected results.

The next investigation is why the inputs or selection changed. A historical list helps frame that investigation; it does not complete it, predict the next return or place a brokerage order.
