# Which IDX Tool Connects Large Trades to the Order Book?

An actual CTRA walkthrough follows a 3,627-lot event, compares 500- and 1,000-lot previews, and explains why a completed trade is not remaining liquidity.

Trade Inc’s Running Trades can take you from a large-transaction event to the stock’s transaction list and order book. In our CTRA walkthrough, a displayed 3,627-lot trade at Rp545 was followed by a book showing only 747 lots offered at that price. The completed trade and the available offer were different observations—not a promise that another order could repeat the earlier transaction.

Trade Inc publishes this guide about its own product. We used an authenticated Pro session on 8 October 2026 around 11:02–11:04 WIB. These are recorded interface observations, not an independent audit of the exchange feed or a guarantee of availability on every plan.

## Key takeaways

- Start with the event’s time, quantity and price, then inspect its transaction row.
- A completed trade is not remaining order-book depth.
- Changing the preview size from 500 to 1,000 lots crossed a price level in this snapshot.
- Check each panel’s date. The broker section in this test was dated 7 October, not the current session.

## Open Running Trades and inspect the event

Open [Running Trades](https://tradeinc.app/views), select **30 mnt terakhir** under **Rentang waktu**, and keep **Peristiwa individual** selected. Find the CTRA **Transaksi besar** event at 10:56 showing 3,627 lots at 545, then click that event. The middle panel changes to CTRA and the right panel shows its order book. Your live list will differ from this recorded example.

*Step 1: the selected time window, individual-event mode and CTRA detail view. Other event categories remain enabled; this is not an exclusive large-trade filter.*

The transaction list also contained a 10:56 row at 545 × 3,627 lots with Rp197.67 million displayed. Using 100 shares per lot, 3,627 × 100 × Rp545 = **Rp197,671,500**, consistent with that rounded label. The [IDX trading-mechanism page](https://www.idx.id/en/products-services/trading-hours-and-mechanism/) specifies 100 shares per round lot for regular and cash-market stocks.

That calculation checks the display’s arithmetic. It does not independently certify the trade record, identify the investor, or prove accumulation. A large transaction alone does not establish why either side traded.

## Compare the event with the available offers

At capture, the book’s best bid was Rp540 and its best offer was Rp545. The offer at Rp545 contained 747 lots; the next offer, Rp550, contained 5,058 lots. These are resting quantities shown later, not the book at the earlier trade’s exact execution time.

Select **500** under **Jika kamu beli sekarang**. The preview showed an average of 545 and Rp27.25 million: 500 × 100 × Rp545. No order was submitted.

*Step 2: the 500-lot preview fits within the displayed 747-lot best offer. This is a snapshot calculation, not a fill confirmation.*

Now select **1 rb**, meaning 1,000 lots. The interface showed two levels, an average rounded to 546 and Rp54.63 million.

![Actual CTRA order book after selecting the 1,000-lot preview](https://cdn.sanity.io/images/eybaj6wm/production/d58bf840eab1ecad35c8e00aa01bfef87d307838-600x482.jpg)

*Step 3: the larger preview reaches the next offer level. The selected button changes the preview, not a broker order.*

| Snapshot calculation | 500 lots | 1,000 lots |
| --- | ---: | ---: |
| Lots allocated at Rp545 | 500 | 747 |
| Lots allocated at Rp550 | 0 | 253 |
| Gross value before fees | Rp27,250,000 | Rp54,626,500 |
| Calculated average per share | Rp545 | Rp546.265 |

The second average is (747 × 545 + 253 × 550) ÷ 1,000. The preview’s **+1.16%** used the displayed last price of Rp540 as its reference: 546.265 ÷ 540 − 1 ≈ 1.1602%. It was not measured against the best offer of Rp545. Against that offer, the difference is about 0.2321%.

## Check timestamps before drawing conclusions

The event, transaction list, current quote, order book and broker panel are not interchangeable. CTRA’s broker section explicitly showed **7 October** while the morning event list was being viewed on **8 October**. Do not attribute the displayed event to those broker rankings. For that separate workflow, see our [broker-heatmap guide](/en/blog/idx-broker-heatmap-buying-selling).

The preview assumes the displayed offers remain available. We did not verify quote latency or execute a trade. Fees are not included in the reproduced gross values. Actual matching also depends on order instructions and the market when the order arrives; IDX describes price and time priority for regular and cash-market matching.

## When this workflow is worth using

This view suits a reader who wants to investigate an event and inspect nearby depth in one workspace. If your existing broker terminal already supplies a suitable tape and order book, you may not need another tool for this task. Nor is a snapshot a substitute for the [daily-volume participation check](/en/blog/ai-chat-idx-position-trading-volume), which asks a different liquidity question.

A useful acceptance test is to reproduce one event’s value, compare two preview sizes, and identify the date behind each supporting panel. If the book is missing, stale or inconsistent, stop the execution inference. No new Screener, backtest, alert or trade was created in this demonstration. This article is research education, not an instruction to buy CTRA.
