# Which Tool Can Filter Intraday IDX Activity and Explain Each Match?

A hands-on Trade Inc Streams guide: set a five-minute transaction-value filter, inspect BBCA’s evidence, and distinguish a fresh evaluation from fresh market data.

## Summary

Trade Inc Streams can help you find IDX stocks whose recent transaction activity meets a specified threshold, then inspect the data behind the match. In our hands-on test, we entered a Rp500 million minimum for the last five minutes and opened BBCA’s filter evidence. The useful output was not just a “match” label: it included the observed value, trade count, data time and evaluation time.

This is a guide to the signed-in research workspace, not a free calculator or a stock recommendation. Trade Inc publishes this article about its own product. The workflow was checked on 2 October 2026 at approximately 15:02 WIB using a Pro-enabled demo account. [The public product page](https://tradeinc.app/en) lists live screening with Streams among Pro features; confirm current access before subscribing.

## Key takeaways

- Specify both the amount and the time window. Rp500 million over five minutes is a different question from Rp500 million over a session.
- Open a matching ticker’s evidence instead of treating the shortlist as a trading instruction.
- Read “Data time” separately from “Evaluated.” A new calculation timestamp does not make an older observation new.
- Transaction value is not net buying, shareholder accumulation or a guaranteed executable price.
- This demonstration tests a current filtering workflow. It is not a backtest, an accuracy study or a performance record.

## What Streams adds to a market watchlist

A watchlist tells you which stocks you follow. A Stream lets you ask which observed stocks meet an activity condition now, then inspect why.

The interface we tested offered filters for transaction value, price movement, bid–ask spread, large transactions and other intraday conditions. It also exposed “all filters” and “any filter” logic. We tested only the transaction-value path; the presence of other controls is not evidence that every combination has been validated.

The distinction matters when choosing a tool. A researcher monitoring a session needs changing results, visible timestamps and a way to interrogate a match. A researcher asking whether a rule would have worked historically needs a separate historical test with defined costs and outcomes.

## How to reproduce the demonstrated workflow

In the signed-in workspace, open **Streams** from the sidebar. The screenshots use the Indonesian interface, where the page is labeled **Stream**.

1. In **Tambah filter** (Add filter), choose **Nilai transaksi** (Transaction value).
2. Enter **0.5** in **Nilai minimum · Rp miliar**. The interface translates this into **Rp500,000,000**.
3. Keep the window at **5 mnt terakhir** (Last five minutes).
4. Use the results search to find **BBCA**. Searching narrows the displayed rows; it is not a new investment criterion.
5. Open **Periksa BBCA** to inspect the result and **Bukti filter** (Filter evidence).

We left the configuration unsaved. No Screener, backtest or trading order was created. Your results will differ as the observed window changes.

## What the actual BBCA result showed

*Actual product capture on 2 October 2026, around 15:02 WIB. The Indonesian interface is shown unchanged. These are displayed observations at capture, not independently reconciled exchange totals or a recommendation.*

| Item | Displayed value or test setting |
| --- | --- |
| Minimum entered | Rp500 million |
| Window selected | Last five minutes |
| Observed transaction value | Approximately Rp1.48 billion |
| Observed transaction count | 90 |
| Largest observed transaction | Rp82.35 million |
| Data time | 15:02:18 WIB |
| Evaluation time | 15:02:29 WIB |
| Result | Match |

The displayed value was about **2.96 times** the threshold: Rp1.48 billion divided by Rp0.50 billion. That ratio uses the rounded screen value, so it is approximate. It explains the observed match, not the attractiveness of buying BBCA.

The evidence panel explicitly warns that observed transactions may establish a minimum threshold even when coverage is incomplete. That is narrower than claiming a complete exchange tape. We did not independently reconcile every underlying transaction, test duplicate handling or establish coverage across all IDX securities.

## Why the two timestamps matter

In the captured panel, evaluation followed the data timestamp by **11 seconds**. That difference is observable; its cause was not established by this test.

Do not interpret it as a measured end-to-end feed latency. A data timestamp may reflect the latest available event while the evaluation timestamp identifies the calculation. A quiet stock, delayed observation or incomplete coverage can each require a different response.

The page displayed a five-second update interval. Treat that as the interface’s stated cadence, not a guarantee that every stock receives a new market observation every five seconds.

Before relying on a result, check whether its observation is recent enough for your research question. If the data time is old or the necessary field is unavailable, preserve that uncertainty instead of replacing it with zero.

## A value threshold does not establish buying pressure

Rupiah transaction value measures the value of observed trades. Every completed trade has a buyer and a seller; a large total does not by itself identify the more informed side, the ultimate owner or the reason for trading.

It also does not tell you how much can still be bought at the displayed price. Spread is the gap between bid and ask, and the last-traded price need not equal a subsequent execution price. These general distinctions are explained by the SEC’s investor-education pages on [bid and ask](https://www.investor.gov/introduction-investing/investing-basics/glossary/ask-price) and [order types](https://www.investor.gov/introduction-investing/investing-basics/how-stock-markets-work/types-orders). Those sources explain concepts, not IDX-specific order rules.

A practical next step is to examine current quotes, available size and the relevant news or disclosure. A Stream narrows attention; it does not replace those checks. A match could reflect routine turnover, a brief burst or activity around an event. This test does not distinguish those explanations.

## Who should consider this workflow—and who may not need it?

Streams is relevant if you monitor Indonesian stocks during the session and want to inspect activity conditions without manually checking every ticker. The demonstrated benefit is a traceable route from a chosen threshold to a timestamped observation.

It may be unnecessary if you only review quarterly business performance or maintain a small long-term watchlist. Financial statements and disclosure research may answer those questions more directly. It is also not sufficient for someone seeking a broker execution terminal, a proven profitable rule or a complete transaction audit.

When evaluating access, test a ticker you know, verify the displayed unit and window, and open the evidence panel. If the needed data is missing, stale or cannot be explained, the workflow has not passed your acceptance test even if the page looks active.

## Conclusion

Choose an intraday research tool by whether you can explain a result from its inputs, window and timestamps—not by how many stocks it marks as matches.

The tested Streams workflow meets that narrow inspectability test: an entered value threshold led to visible BBCA evidence. Broader claims about coverage, execution quality or predictive performance would require additional testing. Use the match to decide what to investigate next, not what to buy.
