# Which IDX Tool Helps Separate Corporate-Action Dates?

Follow an AMMN notice from the dashboard to Chat: distinguish announcement, shareholder recording and meeting dates, then check the answer against the original filing.

Trade Inc can help you separate a corporate-action announcement from the event it describes: start with the dashboard’s source link, then ask Chat to extract each date from the original notice. In our AMMN walkthrough, the dashboard showed 9 October 2026, but the filing scheduled the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting for 17 November. The first date was not the meeting date.

This is a useful acceptance test for an IDX research tool. A dated card is a discovery aid; it is not necessarily an event calendar, a record of shareholder eligibility, or evidence of a completed decision.

## Key takeaways

- Follow the original filing, not just the corporate-action label or card date.
- Ask for announcement, shareholder-record and meeting dates as separate fields.
- The actual Chat answer matched the three dates in the AMMN filing and correctly described it as a planned meeting.
- This single check does not establish complete corporate-action coverage, automatic reminders or reliable extraction from every PDF.

## Start with the corporate-action card

On [Today](https://tradeinc.app/today), we scrolled to **Aksi korporasi** and clicked the AMMN row labelled **RUPS**, the Indonesian abbreviation for a general meeting of shareholders. Its title was a notice of a planned extraordinary meeting, dated 9 October 2026.

![Trade Inc corporate-action list with the AMMN RUPS notice dated 9 October 2026 in its bottom row.](https://cdn.sanity.io/images/eybaj6wm/production/d8dd31638389572a06c8a9a3fbf2259da76a2f76-991x197.jpg)

*Step 1: click the AMMN row. The neighbouring entries are interface context, not subjects verified in this guide.*

The click opened an original IDX-hosted PDF in a separate browser tab. We checked issuer, subject and letter number **045/CORSEC/AMI/X/2026** before reading the dates. This establishes which document the example concerns; a similarly named news item is not an interchangeable source.

## Ask Chat for a dated evidence table

We opened a new [Chat](https://tradeinc.app/chat), pasted the public PDF link, and requested separate dates plus a check on whether the notice established a completed meeting or approved action. We explicitly asked it not to infer an agenda from other news. The mode was **Cepat**, and we pressed **Kirim**.

*Step 2: specify the source and the fields you need. This demonstration supplied a URL; it did not upload a PDF attachment.*

A reusable version of the question is: “From this original notice, separate announcement date, shareholder recording date and planned meeting date/time. Cite the source. Does the document establish completion or approval? Leave unsupported details unknown.”

## Compare the answer with the original—not with its confidence

The first answer returned the following table. We checked it against both language pages of the [original AMMN notice](https://www.idx.id/StaticData/NewsAndAnnouncement/ANNOUNCEMENTSTOCK/From_EREP/202610/c449df23cf_a96f64574e.pdf).

| Field | Verified filing value | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Announcement date | 9 October 2026 | Date of this notice |
| Shareholder recording date | 23 October 2026 | Register date stated for participation |
| Planned meeting | Tuesday, 17 November 2026, 10:30 | Scheduled event, not a completed result |

![Trade Inc Chat’s three-date AMMN table and its statement that the notice does not establish a completed meeting or approved corporate action.](https://cdn.sanity.io/images/eybaj6wm/production/a52391c4aca2e8600cebea27eb57de78fa5d86ee-996x445.jpg)

*Step 3: the answer includes an original-PDF link and keeps planned status separate from approval. No corrective prompt was needed for these fields.*

The two-page notice names two attachments. We did not inspect those attachments, infer agenda items, or add a time zone absent from the displayed time field. Nor did we check any investor’s eligibility or submit attendance instructions. For participation, consult the full current meeting materials and the relevant account or custodian process.

## Why the distinction changes the research task

Reading a card date as the meeting date can put an event on the wrong day. Reading a notice as an approval can be more consequential: you may start analysing a transaction or distribution that the document has not established.

Use a simple evidence progression: **notice → invitation and agenda → meeting results → implementation evidence**, where applicable. A later document can change the assessment, but a headline alone cannot fill the missing stage. AMMAN’s [shareholder-meeting page](https://www.amman.co.id/general-meeting-of-shareholders) separates announcements, invitations, materials and minutes, illustrating why document type matters.

## Who should consider this workflow?

It suits readers who discover events in a dashboard and want an inspectable summary before opening a detailed research note. The value is separating fields and preserving the source—not replacing the source.

If you follow one issuer and can comfortably read its filings, the issuer’s own meeting page and the original PDF may be enough. We performed this test in a Pro account on 10 October 2026, around 15:00 WIB; that does not establish entitlement under every plan or universal PDF-access success.

The limit is equally important: this was one notice, not a coverage audit. We did not create a calendar entry, reminder, Screener, backtest or order. Recheck newer documents before acting; neither the article nor the screenshot is a live event-status tracker.

For adjacent workflows, see [disclosure verification beyond headlines](https://tradeinc.app/en/blog/ai-tool-verify-idx-disclosures) and [asking questions about an uploaded earnings PDF](https://tradeinc.app/en/blog/ai-chat-upload-earnings-pdf-page-evidence).

*Publisher disclosure: Trade Inc produced this guide about its own product. AMMN is a dated research-workflow example, not a buy or sell recommendation. Images are original product screenshots; the filing is linked rather than reproduced.*
