Which Tool Can Filter IDX Stock News by Ticker and Show the Original Source?

A TLDN walkthrough shows the actual clicks from a ticker-filtered news feed to the original publisher—and where headline discovery must give way to disclosure verification.

Summary

Trade Inc’s News workspace can filter the displayed feed by an available IDX ticker, expand a news card, and take you to the original publisher. In our authenticated walkthrough on 4 October 2026, selecting TLDN left one visible story; its source link opened the matching IDX Channel article.

That makes it useful for moving from a broad feed to a company-specific reading task. It does not turn a news summary into an issuer filing, establish complete coverage, or prove why a share price moved.

Key takeaways

  • Use Berita → Feed, then a ticker chip, to narrow the current feed.
  • Open the card to inspect its summary and publisher link; read the source before using its claims.
  • Separate the feed’s refresh time, the article’s publication time, and the underlying event date.
  • Treat ticker tags as a discovery aid—not proof of a direct financial exposure or a causal price relationship.

Disclosure: Trade Inc publishes this guide about its own product. The screenshots show the actual signed-in workspace, not a mock-up. This is a product walkthrough, not a recommendation on TLDN.

What this tool helps you do

The practical problem is not a shortage of headlines. It is deciding which headline belongs in a company research note, and retaining enough provenance for another reader to check it.

Trade Inc’s public product page describes sourced news alongside its research workspace. Here we tested the narrower News-feed interaction directly: category controls, ticker filtering, card expansion and the outbound publisher link. We did not test historical archive completeness, delivery latency, alerts or every subscription’s access.

The example was inspected on 4 October 2026. The captured workspace displayed a refresh time of 08:02 WIB. That is an interface label, not an independently measured ingestion time.

Step 1: Open Feed and identify the ticker control

In the signed-in workspace, open Berita (News) from the sidebar and select Feed. In this capture, the feed displayed 15 items and category controls for Semua (All), Emiten (Companies), Makro (Macro) and Global.

The ticker chips sit below those categories. We used TLDN, which was present in that day’s feed. These are available ticker filters; this demonstration does not establish that the screen can search any ticker across an unlimited archive.

Step 1 — Select Feed, then the TLDN chip in the ticker row. The numbers and stories belong to this captured feed, not a permanent product inventory.

Step 2: Select TLDN and inspect the result

Clicking TLDN narrowed the visible list to one card about Teladan Prima Agro’s dividend and business priorities. The card identified IDX Channel as publisher and showed 4 Oct, 06:45.

“One visible card” is the result of this filter at this observation. It is not a claim that only one TLDN story existed, or that every relevant disclosure had been collected.

Step 2 — TLDN is selected; the feed now shows the matching card. Selecting the same ticker again cleared the filter in our check.

The price-change badge next to a ticker is separate from the news evidence. Do not read its proximity to a headline as proof that the article caused the move. This walkthrough does not validate the badge’s price baseline or timing.

Step 3: Expand the card and open the publisher

Click the card’s headline. The expanded view exposes a short synopsis and Baca di IDX Channel (Read on IDX Channel).

Step 3 — Click the source link below the synopsis. The synopsis is a starting point for reading, not a substitute for the underlying evidence.

We followed that link. The publisher’s article opened with the matching headline and a publication timestamp of 4 October 2026, 06:45 WIB. This verifies the destination and displayed publication metadata. It does not independently verify the corporate figures inside the story.

Turn the headline into a checkable research note

Keep three layers separate:

LayerWhat to recordWhat it does not prove
Product feedSelected ticker, visible card, observation dateExhaustive company coverage
Publisher articleOriginal URL, publisher, publication timestampThat publication and event dates are identical
Issuer or exchange documentRelevant filing, period, terms and effective datesThat the event makes the stock attractive

For a dividend story, the next research task is to locate the issuer or exchange notice and reconcile the amount per share, eligibility dates and payment schedule. This guide intentionally does not adopt the screenshot’s corporate amounts as verified findings.

Our disclosure-verification guide covers that next stage. For a wider evidence checklist, see how to verify AI-generated stock research.

Who should use it—and who may not need it?

This workflow fits someone who already uses Trade Inc for company research and wants to narrow a daily news feed without losing the original source. The useful output is a reading shortlist with traceable links, not a buy or sell signal.

If you only need one known article, opening the publisher directly may be sufficient. If you need a complete legal disclosure archive, a guaranteed news latency or a historical event dataset, this demonstration is not evidence that those requirements are met. Confirm coverage and access before relying on the product for them.

Conclusion

Use the News feed to find and route relevant reading: select a ticker, inspect the card, then open the publisher. Move to issuer or exchange evidence when the claim affects valuation, cash flow or shareholder rights.

The decision rule is simple: a source link makes a headline traceable; only the appropriate underlying evidence makes its material claims ready for a research conclusion.
